PixelFunder is a platform for creative fundraising and community support. These guidelines help ensure a safe, respectful, and positive experience for everyone.

Prohibited Content

PixelFunder has zero tolerance for the following content:

Adult & Sexual Content

  • Nudity: No nudity of any kind
  • Pornography: No pornographic or sexually explicit content
  • Sexual content: No sexual situations, suggestive imagery, or adult services
  • Sex trafficking: Absolutely prohibited

Illegal Activities

  • Illegal drugs, substances, or paraphernalia
  • Weapons, explosives, or regulated items
  • Stolen goods or counterfeit items
  • Illegal gambling or money laundering
  • Any content promoting or facilitating illegal activities

Harmful Content

  • Violence: Graphic violence, gore, or threats of harm
  • Hate speech: Content targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
  • Harassment: Bullying, doxxing, or targeting individuals
  • Self-harm: Content promoting suicide or self-injury
  • Child endangerment: Any content involving minors inappropriately
  • Extremism: Terrorist content or violent extremism

Fraudulent Conduct

  • Fake or misleading fundraisers
  • Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
  • Scams or phishing attempts
  • Impersonating others or organizations
  • False representation of beneficiaries

Acceptable Use

Fundraising Grids

Grids should be used for legitimate fundraising purposes:

  • Personal causes (medical, education, emergencies)
  • Charitable organizations
  • Creative projects and ventures
  • Community initiatives
  • Business startups (must be transparent)
  • Memorial or tribute funds

Pixel Designs

When designing your purchased pixels:

  • Keep content family-friendly
  • Respect copyright and intellectual property
  • Avoid excessive advertising or spam
  • No shock images or disturbing content
  • Political content is allowed but must be respectful

Links

Links attached to pixels must:

  • Lead to legitimate, safe websites
  • Not use URL shorteners (security policy)
  • Not link to prohibited content
  • Not be deceptive or misleading
  • Not link to malware or phishing sites

Transparency & Honesty

Grid owners must:

  • Accurately describe their fundraising purpose
  • Be truthful about who will benefit from funds
  • Update supporters on fund usage (recommended)
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Not misrepresent fundraising goals or outcomes

Respectful Interaction

When interacting with others:

  • Be kind and constructive in communications
  • Respect different viewpoints and backgrounds
  • Don't spam or harass other users
  • Report violations instead of engaging in conflict
  • Give credit where credit is due

Reporting Violations

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the "Report" button on grids or designs
  • Provide specific details about the violation
  • Do not publicly shame or harass the violator
  • Allow our moderation team to review and act
  • For urgent safety concerns, email urgent@pixelfunder.com

Consequences

Violations may result in:

  • Content removal: Offending content will be hidden or deleted
  • Grid suspension: Temporary or permanent grid removal
  • Account suspension: Temporary account restrictions
  • Account termination: Permanent ban for serious violations
  • Refunds: Funds may be refunded if a grid is removed
  • Legal action: Illegal content reported to authorities

Appeals

If you believe content was removed in error:

  • Contact support@pixelfunder.com
  • Include details about the removed content
  • Explain why you believe it complies with guidelines
  • Appeals are reviewed within 5-7 business days
  • Decisions on appeals are final

Updates to Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as our platform evolves. Material changes will be announced, and continued use of PixelFunder constitutes acceptance of updated guidelines.
